My Wife Has No Emotion Anime Reveals Trailer Ahead of Release Date Window

The official website and X (formerly known as Twitter) handle the upcoming series My Wife Has No Emotion shared the first promotional video on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. The teaser clip featured Takuma and his housekeeping robot, Mina. The series will air in July 2024 on Japanese local television networks such as Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS Asahi channels.

Tezuka Productions is developing the series. My Wife Has No Emotion anime is an adaptation of Jiro Sugiura’s original manga series. Kadokawa’s Comic Flapper Magazine has been serializing the series since 2019.

My Wife Has No Emotion anime dropped the first trailer for the series on Tuesday. As mentioned, the series will premiere in July 2024 on Tokyo MX, BS Asahi, and MBS networks in Japan. The exact release date of the series has yet to be announced.

The promotional teaser plays with Takuma Kosugi in the background. He is narrating the seemingly mundane experience of his daily life while returning from the office. As he walks into his apartment, his housekeeping robot, Mina, welcomes him and prepares a delicious meal.

Seven Seas Entertainment, which distributes this series’ manga, describes the plot of the series as the following:

“Takuma is a single guy who does nothing but go to work and come home. Too tired to do chores, he decides to get a robot to cook and clean the house. Mina-chan is such a good housekeeper that Takuma jokes that she should become his wife.”

It continues, “Mina takes Takuma’s joke seriously, and slowly, the two start doing more things together, like having a picnic outside. As time passes, Takuma starts to fall for Mina, but can a human and a robot ever have an equal, loving relationship?”
