On Monday, March 11, 2024, the official staff of A Journey Through Another World anime released a new promotional video that revealed additional staff and a new key visual. The anime is based on Shizuru Minazuki’s light novel series of the same name. The author published his first novel with Alphapolis, whose illustrations were done by Yamakawa, in April 2017. Following this, a manga adaptation was launched a year later.

The highly anticipated anime adaptation is scheduled for release in July 2024. Although the exact release details remain unannounced, fans can expect the news in the coming weeks. Reportedly, the anime’s ending song, “MAKUAKE,” will be performed by GOHOBI.
The anime’s star-studded lineup includes Yusuke Shirai as Takumi Kayano and Haruka Tomatsu as Sylphyleel. It will also see real-life sisters Aina Suzuki and Miharu Hanai play the quirky twins—Allen and Elena.
As for the staff, Atsushi Nigorikawa will direct the anime at EMT Squared, while Atsushi Maekawa will handle the series composition. Yūki Nakano will handle character design, and Akinari Suzuki will handle the music.

The official website describes the series as follows: “Takumi Kayano lost his life due to God’s mistake and was reincarnated. He is given various skills and sent to another world; he finds himself in a dangerous forest infested with monsters. Takumi discovers a young man and woman, Allen and Elena, who appear to be twins in the forest. Surprised to see the two easily defeat monsters with martial arts, they arrive at the city. Takumi registers with the adventurer’s guild to earn a living. He starts his laidback life as an adventurer while watching their growth!”
