HIDIVE New Update Offers Offline Viewing Among Other Features

In a recent announcement made on Thursday, March 7, 2024, HIDIVE surprised fans by revealing a new upgrade in the platform. The streaming platform has opted for many new updates, making the experience of watching anime easier for fans. This update applies to all who access HIDIVE through its website and apps. Hence, all iPhone, Android TV, Apple TV 4K, Roku, and Fire TV users will be able to enjoy this revamp.

HIDIVE updates you need to know about

Most importantly, the new HIDIVE updates include an offline viewing feature, allowing fans to download and watch the available anime at their convenience. This feature was already available on Crunchyroll, but fortunately, HIDIVE caught up despite the delay.

Other updates include an improved user interface, making the streaming and watching experience visually appealing. Aside from this, a simplified menu allows for streamlining and easy catalog navigation. Moreover, the revamped search and watch history features enhanced convenience as users can now access the titles they have previously watched.

Additionally, a customized watchlist allows viewers to personalize the anime list they wish to watch. Hence, the website and apps will keep track of the users’ preferences, providing easier access to the anime they like. Another great feature that HIDIVE now boasts is enhanced content discovery, curation, and playback. Again, this aims to tailor the users’ preferences and offer an optimized playback feature to upgrade the streaming quality. Finally, the option to gift a HIDIVE subscription to fellow enthusiasts is now available.

Sentai Filmworks launched HIDIVE after they discontinued Anime Network Online in 2017. The entire catalog, which was available on Anime Network Online and its subscription, was then transferred to HIDIVE to avoid disappointing fans.

The streaming platform boasts a vast catalog, including famous titles such as Oshi no Ko, Chained Soldier, Made In Abyss, Nana, Princess Tutu, Akame ga Kill!, and more.
