My Instant Death Ability episode 8 recap
Episode 8 starts with a deep dive into Yogiri Takato’s childhood. It also sheds more insight into the carnage seen in episode 1. Asaka Takato had cemented her place in Yogiri’s heart, spending most of her time teaching and cooking for him. She receives a sizable salary after surpassing all other caretakers he has had. She celebrates her salary on a spending spree throughout the city.
However, she is kidnapped by an agency interested in Yogiri. Noticing something was wrong, Yogiri breaks out to ask about her. After finding out she is kidnapped, he goes on a killing spree to rescue her. After seeing Yogiri’s concern for Takato, the agency considers her indispensable.
Yogiri wakes up as he and Tomochika Dannoura finally reach the capital. The guards confront them but pass easily, thanks to the amulets Rick gave them. However, the youngest member of the Royal Family, David, doubts their capabilities and challenges them to a duel.
Since Yogiri is capable of one-shotting him, Tomochika decides to face him. The latter defeats him after displaying a new move. The two make their way to the palace, where they meet some classmates waiting for a quest from the king. The episode ends with the king executing one of their classmates for his abysmal behavior.
