Imu rules the entire world, being a direct blood relative of the Nerona family—one of the 20 founding houses that constitute the World Government. Imu’s memory spans the mysterious Void Century, indicating immortality.

The actual power and physical strength of Imu were displayed quite secretively throughout the show. Fans marveled at a brief display of Imu’s power during an attack on Cobra. Fans remain curious about Imu’s guarded secrets as speculation about how Imu can become emperor of the world mounts.

Rocks D. Xebec

Well before the current storyline, Rocks D. Xebec led the infamous Rock Pirates, intending to rule the entire world himself. His last revealed fight against the Roger Pirates, the Marines and the Celestial Dragons at God Valley, however, remains a mystery.

Being Luffy’s ultimate enemy, Blackbeard stayed in the shadows until he got a Yami Yami no Mi. This possession resulted in him murdering his crewmate while also creating an air of mystery to be answered later.

Questions revolving around Blackbeard’s interest in the Yami Yami no Mi and his capability of consuming two Devil Fruits may also find answers during the Final Saga. With the culminating showdown between Luffy and Blackbeard approaching, knowing about his past will make this formidable opponent even more dynamic.

Akainu

As the current fleet admiral of the Marines, Akainu is a champion of absolute justice. The Magu Magu no Mi, which he possesses, gives him the power to manipulate the magma at will. Yet, the reasons for Akainu’s loyalty to the Marines and his complete adherence to absolute justice remain quite obscure.

With the Final Saga indicating a gigantic clash, including Akainu, revelations about Akainu’s past are possible.
