How Many Poneglyphs Are There in One Piece: Road Poneglyph, Rio Poneglyph & More

Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece has those big square stones known as the Poneglyphs. A family from Wano Country made these stones, which have old writings on them. These old and huge things, found all over the world, hold hidden secrets and scary pasts. They are a big risk to how the World Government rules everything. In the world of One Piece, they protect them greatly. Trying to decipher them or even making an attempt to find them is not allowed. The scholars from Ohara even faced death punishment due to the heavy enforcement of this rule.

Historical Poneglyphs

Historical Poneglyphs are about old stories. They tell us events that happened during a time called the Void Century, how an ancient kingdom fell down and the secrets of tools made long ago by those kings. Placed in different places, they act as important keepsakes. They hold big secrets hidden from the world.

Important historical Poneglyphs are found in distinct places. These places included the likes of Ohara, Arabasta, Fish Man Island, Shandora, Whole Cake Island and others.

Instructional Poneglyphs

The instructional Poneglyphs help people find the historical ones by giving directions. These signs give hints and guidance, helping people with “voice of all things” which basically help them find and understand the hidden historical Poneglyphs. These are necessary to discover what happened during the century we call “Void.”

Combined with their connection to the historical Poneglyphs, they play a crucial role in the storyline. Important spots of these Instructional Poneglyphs aligns with the historical ones on many islands and different places.

Road Poneglyphs

Road Poneglyphs are important maps to find Laugh Tale, a hidden last island in the big ocean called Grand Line. There are four road Poneglyphs. Each one gives a special place needed to find the way towards Laugh Tale. Gathering these is very important to find the hidden One Piece.

The Straw Hat Pirates acquired three road Poneglyphs: One from the Whale Tree on Zou, another one in the Treasure Room of Cake Island’s Chateau. The last note is hidden at Mt Fuji by Wano Country. These big cubes are very important, each one giving clues we need to solve the secret.

Rio Poneglyph

The hard-to-find Rio Poneglyph is a big composite message in itself. It is collected through the encryptions on certain stone cubes lying across the Grand Line. It has only nine of these steles and it shows the real history hidden in all these mysterious items.

Gol D. Roger, Pirate King, managed to read the Rio Poneglyph’s messages by listening to “the voice of all things.” This is a power that lets him understand what’s written in these rocks. Nico Robin wants to finish what the smart people from Ohara started. She hopes to find out more secrets hidden in this shared history book.

The search for the Rio Poneglyph is still a hard adventure, pushing Robin and others to find the hidden history.

The Poneglyphs in One Piece are more than just old things. They contain untold stories, hidden facts, and the charm of the Rumored One Piece Treasure Map. Their spread around the world shows important steps in Straw Hat Pirates and others wanting to find truth from these old rocks.
