Despa freaks out over an age spot. Kage wonders if there’s a medicine that fixes age spots, so Kage offers to buy it for him. Despa gives him money to buy a shuddercap. Meanwhile, Despa trains Bojji. Kage doesn’t manage to find any at the market, and one of the sellers tells him to go to Okkana Forest. However, he warns Kage about a dangerous creature there.
Kage goes to the forest and sees a large creature and an old lady on top of it. Kage rescues the old lady, and he asks her about the shuddercaps, but she claims she doesn’t know. The lady says she sprained her ankle, so Kage brings her home. She then complains that she won’t be able to do her household chores, so Kage does the work for her. Before Kage leaves, the lady gives him pie. Kage heads home, and the pie turns out to be a shuddercap pie.
Despa sends Kage and Bojji off to earn some money, saying Bojji needs to learn about society. The two wander around to find jobs, but Bojji doesn’t end up being a match for the tasks. Kage then gets an idea and lets people try to hit Bojji with a beanbag for money. However, no one manages to hit him. A poor girl tries the game but fails. However, Bojji feels guilty about her lost money. Kage tells Despa about the girl. Despa is relieved that the two learned their social lesson. He then meets with the girl and invests in her studies.
