Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 267 Recap

For the school festival, the class is presenting a play about the Leaf Village’s important figures. Kae is very excited about the performance. After the rehearsal, Osuka asks her classmates to bring handmade headbands. The next day, Sosha hands out an exposé on Eiki, who was caught reading “Make-Out Paradise.” During rehearsal, Himawari realizes she forgot her headband. Kawaki hands her his headband, but Himawari tells him to keep it since it would be troublesome if someone finds out that Kawaki is a genin. After the rehearsal, Eiki informs Sosha that Kawaki is a real shinobi. When Sosha asks for proof, Eiki shows her a piece of paper. However, Sosha doesn’t consider it as proof. Eiki promises to bring her Kawaki’s real headband. Later on, Kae and Kawaki go to the rooftop. Kae reflects on the importance of friendship because of the play.

The class begins their stage rehearsal. Eiki decides to switch roles with Ehou. While rehearsing, Eiki bumps into Kawaki, causing his headband to fall. Kawaki drops to the floor to hide his headband while Eiki tries to get it. Unfortunately, Eiki destroys the stage setup in the process. Eiki hands the proof to Sosha, but it’s a handmade headband. Kawaki makes Eiki realize what he’s done, and Eiki apologizes to everyone. After the class fixes the stage, Kawaki realizes his headband is missing. Osuka hands it over, saying she overheard Eiki and Sosha’s conversation. As Himawari and Kawaki leave school, Eiki apologizes again and shows the letter he received. The two wonder who else knows about Kawaki’s identity. Kawaki then rushes to the infirmary, where he sees an assassin attempting to kill Kae.
