Dragon Ball Super Gets Limited Edition Full Series Blu-ray Box Set

The full Dragon Ball Super series is getting a limited edition collection, as Crunchyroll has announced a massive steel book box set that’s releasing on September 20, 2022.

The series will include all 131 episodes of the hit anime series, collected across 20 total Blu-ray discs. The anime will be presented in 1080p high definition and will feature the English dubbed in 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio, and the Japanese audio in Dolby TrueHD stereo.

The box set is packaged in a special container that houses ten steel books, each of which contains two discs and features special artwork of various Dragon Ball Super characters. The box set is available to pre-order now on Crunchyroll’s website, and retails for $149.99.

Alongside the episodes, the box set will also feature a wide variety of special features (in both English and Japanese) on the discs, including:

After 131 episodes, Dragon Ball Super ended in March 2018. Since then, two films have been released: 2018’s Dragon Ball Super: Broly, and Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, which just released in Japan earlier this week and is set to release overseas on August 19, 2022.

Dragon Ball began as a manga written and illustrated by Akira Toriyama and was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1984 to 1995. The Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z anime series were originally broadcast in Japan from 1986 to 1996. Dragon Ball Super is the latest iteration of the anime television series.
