Toonami Schedule Adds Made in Abyss, Reveals New Lineup

Toonami has updated its Saturday night block, adding in the Made in Abyss! anime to its newest lineup of shows.

The news was announced on Toonami’s official Facebook page, with the premiere of Made in Abyss! set for Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 1:30 a.m. EST. The new anime will premiere following two episodes of Assassination Classroom. You can view the new Toonami lineup below:

Blade Runner – 12 a.m. EST

Assassination Classroom – 12:30 a.m. EST

Assassination Classroom – 1 a.m. EST

Made in Abyss! – 1:30 a.m. EST

Naruto: Shippuden – 2 a.m. EST

Naruto: Shippuden – 2:30 a.m. EST

Cowboy Bebop – 3 a.m. EST

Cowboy Bebop – 3:30 a.m. EST

“Riko, daughter of the missing White Whistle Lyza the Annihilator, aspires to become like her mother and explore the furthest reaches of the Abyss,” reads the official synopsis of Made in Abyss! “However, just a novice Red Whistle herself, she is only permitted to roam its most upper layer. Even so, Riko has a chance encounter with a mysterious robot with the appearance of an ordinary young boy. She comes to name him Reg, and he has no recollection of the events preceding his discovery.”
