The popular comedy manga The Way of the Househusband is getting its own live-action feature film adaptation, with a release date set for next year.

The news comes following the successful ten-episode drama series based on the show that ran in 2020. The stars of the series — Hiroshi Tamaki, Haruna Kawaguchi, and Jun Shison — are all set to reprise their roles as Tatsu, Miku, and Masa, respectively, with the film being directed by Toichiro Ruto, who also handled the live-action drama series. More casting news, including guest stars and the plot details of the film, will be announced at a later date.

I’ll do my best to make the movie have a good aftertaste like ‘Looks bad, but tastes good.’ Please look forward to The Way of the Househusband: The Movie!”
