Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation is officially returning for a second cour as part of Funimation’s fall 2021 anime season.

After finishing its first cour (also known as a block of episodes) earlier this year, fans have been waiting for more information on when to expect more episodes, and thankfully for them, they won’t have to wait long. Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation debuted in January 2021 to rave reviews as Studio Bind quickly found success due to the show’s striking visual style.

The anime itself is based on the high-fantasy light novel series written by Rifujin na Magonote and illustrated by Shirotaka. The story follows a 34-year-old who is killed while saving a stranger in a traffic collision. Reborn as a newborn baby named Rudeus Greyrat, the main character retains his knowledge, experience, and regrets from his past life, and now vows to lead a fulfilling life while not repeating his past mistakes.
