In addition, Sony is continuing their VR promotion for PS Plus members in the US and Canada, allowing players to receive a free copy of RIGS Mechanized Combat League through November 7. RIGS is a first-person, arena-based shooter developed from the ground up for PS VR. Set in the year 2065, it immerses players in an intense, all-action future sport that mixes elements from different athletic fields like combat sports, motorsports, basketball and football.

Xbox Live Gold members will receive four new free games – two on Xbox One and two on Xbox 360 – as part of the Games with Gold program. On Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold members can download the exploration game Gone Home: Console Edition for the entire month of October and the first-person puzzle game The Turing Test from October 16 to November 15.
