Earlier this year, Netflix acquired worldwide rights to How It Ends. Production is slated to begin next month in Winnipeg, Canada.

Whitaker was recently seen in a galaxy far, far away as part of the ensemble cast of Gareth Edwards’ Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. He played the part of militant extremist Saw Gerrera and even reprised the role for the animated series Star Wars Rebels. Next up, he’s paying a visit to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, playing the part of Zuri in director Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther. Starring Captain America: Civil War‘s Chadwick Boseman in the title role, Black Panther hits theaters February 18, 2018.
