This Fall on Gotham and Lucifer

FOX has debuted a new Gotham and Lucifer fall preview which you can watch in the player below! Gotham and Lucifer will return to FOX on Monday, September 19.

A few casting announcements for both shows were also made today. According to IGNGotham executive producer John Stevens revealed that both Harley Quinn and Killer Croc will make appearances in the Batman prequel show. Stevens said that Gotham Season 3 will feature a “proto” Killer Croc, while Harley Quinn’s forerunner will also appear, but “maybe not this season.”

Deadline adds that Lucifer executive producers Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson revealed that The Sopranos star Michael Imperioli will play the angel Uriel, the brother of Lucifer’s (Tom Ellis) and Amenadiel (DB Woodside). Season 2 will revolve around Lucifer’s mother, played by Tricia Helfer.

Gotham stars Ben McKenzie as Detective James Gordon, Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock, Michael Chiklis as Detective Nathaniel Barnes, Sean Pertwee as Alfred, Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean, David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle/the future Catwoman, Cory Michael Smith as Edward nygma/the future Riddler, Chris Chalk as Lucius Fox, and Jamie Chung as Valerie Vale, the aunt of future Batman love interest Vicki Vale.

Lucifer stars Tom Ellis in the title role as Lucifer, who, bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, resigns his throne and abandons his kingdom for the gorgeous, shimmering insanity of Los Angeles, where he gets his kicks helping the LAPD punish criminals. Co-starring alongside Ellis are Lauren German as Chloe Dancer, an LAPD homicide detective who finds herself both repulsed and fascinated by Lucifer; Lesley-Ann Brandt as Lucifer’s best friend Maze, a fierce demon who takes the form of a human woman; Nicholas Gonzalez as Dan, an LAPD homicide detective wary of Lucifer; D.B. Woodside as Amenadiel, an angel sent to L.A. to persuade Lucifer to return to hell; and Rachael Harris as Linda, Lucifer’s therapist.
