Dark Sky Over Plague Town

Directorial debut for David Gregory

DVD special features producer David Gregory is stepping behind the camera for Plague Town, his feature directorial debut. Gregory’s esteemed contributions to the genre are many, but within the last few years he also produced Jim Van Bebber’s The Manson Family.

“Town” concerns a dysfunctional family on holiday in the Irish countryside who happen upon a village where the diseased inhabitants are not so friendly. Hamden, Connecticut – one town shy of this writer’s home town of Wallingford – will stand in as the cursed hellish haven.

Josslyn DeCrosta, Erica Rhodes, David Lombard, Lindsay Goranson, Elizabeth Bov and James Warke star.

“Independent horror has always challenged the norm and furthered the genre,” says director/co-screenwriter Gregory. “And ‘Plague Town’ goes into far more perverse and disturbing territory than the average horror film. The entire cast and crew of ‘Plague Town’ are not only prepared to push the envelope, but pummel and mutilate it as well.”
