“May the Fourth be with you…” Today marks a day that, in some circles, has become a day for Star Wars fans and “Vanity Fair” is getting in on the action. Just yesterday they revealed the cover for their June 2015 issue featuring Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens characters Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Chewbacca alongside new Star Wars characters Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega) and the droid BB-8, and today they deliver five new pictures from the film along with a brief, behind-the-scenes video.
Just above we have our first look at Adam Driver as the film’s villain, Kylo Ren, joined by a couple of Imperial snowtroopers “loyal to the evil First Order on the frozen plains of their secret base”, and below we have a look at Lupita Nyong’o who will be playing a CG character by the name of Maz Kanata. Kanata is described as a pirate and the gallery of creatures below her picture are said to be from the main hall of her castle.
Otherwise, you have a couple of behind-the-scenes pictures as well as a new shot of Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron and finally, a first look at Gwendoline Christie‘s character, Captain Phasma.
