Two New ‘Men in Black 3’ TV Spots Take You Back in Time

I am expecting very little from Men in Black III and it should make for interesting box-office conversation considering Battleship (which could also crash and burn) opens the weekend before. What it does have going for it is Snow White and the Huntsman opens the weekend after, which doesn’t necessarily mean the two will be competing for audiences although positive buzz on Snow White could steal a few eyes away from the MiB, but it still seems to me the two can coexist rather easily.

Another issue facing Men in Black III on May 25 is that it has been ten years since the last one and that last one wasn’t necessarily received as well as its 1997 predecessor, which raked in over $250 million at the domestic box-office.

With a reported budget of $215 million and production problems galore Men in Black III will be interesting to see how it all turns out.

That said, take a peek at two new TV spots and let me know if you have any intention of heading to the theater to check this film out on May 25.

In Men in Black 3, Agents J (Will Smith) and K (Tommy Lee Jones) are back… in time. J has seen some inexplicable things in his 15 years with the Men in Black, but nothing, not even aliens, perplexes him as much as his wry, reticent partner. But when K’s life and the fate of the planet are put at stake, Agent J will have to travel back in time to put things right. J discovers that there are secrets to the universe that K never told him — secrets that will reveal themselves as he teams up with the young Agent K (Josh Brolin) to save his partner, the agency, and the future of humankind.
