Over the last month the Academy has been announcing the list of celebrities that will be presenting at the 2012 Oscars and today they added Oscar nominee Meryl Streep (The Iron Lady) to the list. Each year I try and maintain a running list of the presenters, but don’t like to get started too early so today I finally felt it was time to give you the rundown.
I will also be adding names as they are announced the closer we get to Sunday’s Oscar telecast.
The notable names already among the Oscar presenters include the cast of Bridesmaids as well as Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy, considering Cirque du Soleil will be taking over the night’s big performance seeing how there are only two Best Original Song nominees and neither will actually be performed during the telecast.
