Look at and Listen to Daft Punk in ‘Tron Legacy’

Daft Punk are out to battle with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross for the title of most beloved fanboy soundtrack of the year. Reznor and Ross obviously got the jump start with the el-cheapo Amazon digital download of the Social Network score earlier this month, but Disney is pushing strong to the cup with Daft Punk’s score for Tron Legacy beginning with today’s release of an image of the electronic French duo in the film as well as a 90-second clip of their song “The Game Has Changed” which you can listen to on Facebook.

This all comes on the heels of the recently announced “TRON Night: An IMAX 3D Experience” at which audiences will have the chance to spoil 20-plus-minutes of Tron Legacy on October 28 for free, making sure those 20 minutes won’t register nearly as impressive in the completed project upon the film’s release. Details on that can be found here or via the player just above.

Tron Legacy hits theaters on December 17 and this is apparently the start of what Disney is dubbing “Tron Tuesdays” so it sounds as if you should expect nine more weeks of me posting new Tron: Legacy content each Tuesday… that is, if it is actually worth posting.
