Beckinsale is a Snow Angel

With Kate Beckinsale and Sam Rockwell in the same film you not only get to stare at Kate’s shapely buttocks for the entire movie, but you also get to enjoy the great Sam Rockwell, one of the most underrated actors in Hollywood.

These two are joining forces along with Olivia Thirlby, director Jesse Peretz and writer David Gordon Green for the indie feature Snow Angels in which Beckinsale will play a small-town waitress who has suffered through a tumultuous relationship with her estranged husband (Rockwell).

Originally Amanda Peet and Emily Mortimer were attached to star, but it seems Beckinsale has replaced Mortimer and Thirlby has replaced Peet. I am not positive if the story has changed at all, but here is how the synopsis used to read:

Adapted from the novel by Stewart O’Nan, the story interweaves the life of a teenager, Arthur, with his one-time baby sitter Annie (Mortimer), who is struggling with a young daughter and her estranged husband, Glenn (Rockwell).

Gordon Green adapted the script from the novel by Stewart O’Nan.
