Zendaya reveals Tom Holland’s Spider-Man obsession and attention to detail
In a video released by Sony Pictures, Zendaya had nothing but praise for Holland. She discussed how committed he is to the character and how he always wants to deliver the best for the fans. She said the movie would be nothing without him. According to Zendaya, that is not just because he plays the web-slinger, but because of the work and effort he puts into bringing the beloved character to life.
She added, “He cares so much about the character. He cares so much about the people who relate and connect to the character, and wants to do justice to Peter Parker’s story and what he means to so many people.” She also revealed that “nothing gets past” Holland when he is involved in production. She said that the Spider-Man actor is “committed” and “so thoughtful” in handling every aspect of both Peter Parker and his alter ego.
In an earlier interview with Fandango’s Big Ticket interview, the Euphoria actress also shared her favorite thing about Holland playing the web-head. She said, “My favorite thing about Tom’s Spider-Man is how Tom handles Spider-Man outside of Spider-Man. So many people connect to this character, to Peter Parker, to Spider-Man. Especially young people, especially children.” She believes that her beau has handled the character gracefully. She also reflected on how deeply he cares about the character and the people who resonate with the hero.
Zendaya also likes how he comes across in front of younger fans. She appreciates how quickly he realizes that they see him as a heroic figure. She further told Holland, “I just love seeing what and how you carry Spider-Man through your life in real life,” (via E!News).
