Spider-Man: Brand New Day‘s latest promo teases a classic Scorpion moment. The upcoming MCU movie features Tom Holland reprising his fan-favorite titular role.
What do we see in the new Spider-Man: Brand New Day video?
A previously unseen moment featuring Scorpion has surfaced online ahead of Spider-Man: Brand New Day’s release. Among the promotional clips Sony has been sharing on social media, one appears to recreate a classic comic book moment involving Scorpion. It wasn’t featured in the previous two trailers.
Brand New Day’s latest promotional video focuses on how the movie emphasizes bringing many iconic Spider-Man comic book covers to life. One such cover is of 2016’s Spider-Man Adventures Volume 1: The Sting of Scorpion, where supervillain Scorpion is seen attacking Peter Parker with his deadly sting. Well, the movie will include this exact shot in live-action.
The promotional video shows a behind-the-scenes moment where Michael Mando’s Scorpion attacks Holland’s Spider-Man in a similar style.
The clip has more such moments that tease multiple comic-inspired shots featuring Peter Parker and other villains. For example, there’s another cover of him fighting Ramrod, which will be recreated in the movie as well.

While numerous villains will take on Peter Parker in Brand New Day, the main villain remains a mystery.
Besides Holland in the iconic role, the MCU movie will also bring back MJ and Ned, played by Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, respectively. Mark Ruffalo will also make an important appearance, reprising his role of Bruce Banner or Hulk. Jon Bernthal will also be seen teaming up with Peter as The Punisher.
Other key cast members in the movie include Sadie Sink, Liza Colón-Zayas, Luke Gross, and Marvin ‘Krondon’ Jones III. Spider-Man: Brand New Day will hit theaters on July 31, 2026.
