Reboot Series of Chris Evans’ Popular Dystopian Movie Is Coming to Hulu Soon

Fans of Snowpiercer will soon have a chance to revisit the dystopian franchise. The television adaptation of the popular film starring Chris Evans is set to arrive on Hulu next month, bringing its entire run to the streaming platform. The move will make all four seasons of the post-apocalyptic drama available in one place for fans.

Snowpiercer streams on Hulu in July

The TV adaptation of Chris Evans’ acclaimed dystopian film Snowpiercer is headed to Hulu next month. According to Hulu Press, all four seasons of the series will begin streaming on the platform on July 22, 2026.

Snowpiercer premiered on May 17, 2020, and concluded after four seasons and 40 episodes. The dystopian thriller series was overseen by showrunners Graeme Manson and Paul Zbyszewski and serves as a television adaptation of the Snowpiercer franchise.

The series is set seven years after Earth becomes a frozen wasteland following the release of CW-7, a chemical compound intended to lower global temperatures. With the outside world uninhabitable, the surviving population lives aboard Snowpiercer, a massive train created by billionaire inventor Joseph Wilford. Constantly circling the globe, the train generates the energy needed to keep its passengers alive.

As the series progresses, tensions aboard the train become increasingly difficult to contain due to its rigid social hierarchy. The population is sharply divided by class, fueling conflict over power, resources, and survival. Throughout its run, the series explores themes of class struggle and social inequality.

The cast is led by Jennifer Connelly as Melanie Cavill and Daveed Diggs as Andre Layton. Other prominent cast members include Mickey Sumner as Bess Till, Alison Wright as Ruth Wardell, Lena Hall as Miss Audrey, and Iddo Goldberg as Bennett Knox.

On Rotten Tomatoes, Snowpiercer holds an average of 75 percent critics score and a 62 percent audience score.
