Here are the trailers for all six highly anticipated Netflix movies and TV shows releasing over the next two months.
Outer Banks Season 5
The final installment of the action-adventure mystery teen drama lands on the streaming service on August 20, 2026. Picking up from the previous season’s events, it will catch up with the Pogues at their lowest point. Mourning JJ following his death at his father Groff’s hands and dealing with the fact that they lost the Blue Crown, they tackle a slew of emerging threats and obstacles.
23,000 Lives
Starring Dark alum Louis Hofmann, this film premieres on Netflix on July 17, 2026. Based on the true story of Youth to the Rescue, it follows a team of youngsters frustrated by the deaths of multiple people in the Mediterranean Sea as they attempt to reach Europe. Lacking sea rescue experience, they launch a crowdfunding campaign, purchase a ship, and set out to save 23,000 lives.
Louis C.K.: Ridiculous
Veteran comic Louis C.K. returns to the stand-up world three years after his last special, Back to the Garden, aired in 2023. Launching on June 30, 2026, Ridiculous will see the comedian take on various subjects.
The East Palace
The East Palace premieres on Netflix on July 17. Boasting supernatural elements, the story of this historical fantasy series follows Gu-cheon, a swordsman who possesses the mysterious ability to move between the realms of the living and the dead. It also focuses on a lady of the court, Saeng-gang, who harbors her own special ability: hearing the voices of the deceased. The pair’s worlds collide when the king recruits them to solve the mysteries of the palace.
Heartstopper Forever
The feature-length finale of the popular romantic comedy drama Heartstopper also arrives on July 17. In the story, protagonists Nick (Kit Connor) and Charlie (Joe Locke), typically inseparable, face new challenges bound to separate them. As a result, they are forced to confront the reality of a long-distance relationship.
The Last House
This new film, premiering on August 7, 2026, stars Emmy nominee Greta Lee and Oscar nominee Wagner Moura. The story follows a family of four as they find themselves trapped in their home. They must work to survive against their depleting resources and the threat that trapped them in the first place.
