The wait for new Hunter x Hunter chapters will soon conclude. Nearly two years after the manga’s most recent installment was published, Weekly Shonen Jump has confirmed when Yoshihiro Togashi’s acclaimed series will return. The news provides fans with the release date for Chapter 411.
The latest update on Hunter x Hunter’s return
After nearly two years without a new chapter, Hunter x Hunter now has a return date, as reported by CBR. Preview materials for upcoming editions of Weekly Shonen Jump have confirmed that Yoshihiro Togashi’s manga will resume serialization in Issue #31, which is scheduled for release on June 29, 2026.
The news came through promotional pages for Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #30, set to be released in Japan on June 22, 2026. Among the preview images circulating online was an early look at the following issue, where Shonen Jump announced that Chapter 411 will arrive the next week. The chapter will be the first new installment since Chapter 410 was published on December 9, 2024.
The announcement follows months of progress reports from Togashi, who has regularly updated fans on his work through X. In recent posts, the creator revealed that more than twenty chapters have already been completed. He also stated that ten chapters were prepared. Previously, he also indicated that scheduling decisions would be announced by the magazine. “Please wait for the announcement from the Jump editorial department regarding the publication timing for chapters 420 onward,” Togashi said on X as reported by publication.
The newly released preview for Chapter 411 also provides a brief tease of the story’s return. “A royal succession battle surrounded by malice! Center color pages to commemorate the publication of the latest chapter and the release of the latest volume! The battle for the throne intensifies! What will Kurapika and his allies do…?!” the preview states.
The manga’s return will be followed shortly by the release of a new collected volume. Hunter x Hunter Volume 39, titled Negotiation, is scheduled to arrive in Japan on July 3, 2026.
