Fast Charlie follows retired hitman Charlie Swift living in Biloxi, Mississippi. Specifically, Brosnan’s character works as a fixer for mob boss Stan Mullen for twenty years. However, the story takes a violent turn when a rival crime boss disrupts the established order.
The film originally premiered at the 2023 Mill Valley Film Festival on October 7, 2023. Subsequently, Vertical Entertainment released it in select theatres and on video on demand on December 8, 2023. Additionally, the production carried a budget of $16 million and filmed in New Orleans during April 2022.
