What do we know about Netflix’s The Four Seasons Season 3?
Per Variety, The Four Seasons has now officially been renewed for a third season. Plot details remain under wraps at this time, and no release date has been set.
Fey, Fisher, and Wigfield said in a statement, “We are thrilled to be able to bring a third season of ‘The Four Seasons’ to life. Thank you to everyone who watched. Middle-aged people, LFG!”
Netflix’s Tracey Pakosta added, “It’s been a joy watching the chaotic, beautiful journey of these lifelong friends. Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield have a magical way of blending heart and sharp humor, making us feel like part of the inner circle. Audiences have fallen in love with these characters and this legendary cast’s electric chemistry. We’re thrilled to keep the vacation going for Season 3.”
In an exclusive interview with ComingSoon’s Tyler Treese, Fisher confirmed that it’s their intention to have David Tennant, who appears at the very end of The Four Seasons Season 2, to play a major role in Season 3.
“We just started Season 3, the writer’s room, a few weeks ago, and that surprise new friend is in the group now,” Fisher said. “So we were very excited to have him appear, yeah, that’s kind of our big cliffhanger in it. It’s another way that, like this group that’s been together forever, is now changing up with a little bit of new blood.”
