Jason Momoa recently shared his thoughts on a popular fan debate involving Lobo and Aquaman. During an interview, he was asked who would come out on top in a drinking contest between his two DC characters.
Jason Momoa on who would throw up first in Lobo and Aquaman’s drinking game
During an interview with Comicbook.com, Jason Momoa was asked about a drinking contest between Aquaman and Lobo. Fans have often imagined the two characters going head-to-head. When asked who would throw up first, Momoa had a simple answer.
When the host said, “They’d be drinking for days, I bet,” Momoa seemed entertained by the idea and admitted he would love seeing it happen. “Yeah. I mean, I would love to hang out with those two doing it,” he said.
The interviewer then joked that he would not survive. Momoa agreed the situation would be wild. “Those people would. I’d love to see those two together. It’d be amazing,” the Supergirl actor added.
The interviewer noted that many fans viewed Momoa as perfect casting for the role. He was then asked what part of Lobo was hardest to tap into. Jason Momoa’s answer came without much hesitation. “Not a f—ing thing,” he said.
The actor revealed that he had no trouble getting into character and enjoys everything about Lobo’s personality. “I love every aspect of him, I love that there’s just an unapologetic, absolute wild, raw freedom. I love that he doesn’t have to hold back in anything that he does, and you don’t really get to do that in life. You have to accommodate a lot of things. You can’t say what’s on your mind all the time. This guy doesn’t give a s—. So it’s fun to be completely free.”
Momoa is set to begin a new chapter in James Gunn’s DC Universe as Lobo after finishing his run as Aquaman. He will portray Lobo in Supergirl, which is scheduled to arrive in theaters on June 26, 2026.
