Milly Alcock Wants Supergirl To Punch 1 Major DC Villain After Krem

Milly Alcock has named the DC villain she most wants her Supergirl to fight. The actor’s choice comes just weeks ahead of her character’s big-screen debut in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. The House of the Dragon star revealed she would relish a showdown with a particular adversary, citing personal history as much as narrative logic.

Alcock was unequivocal when asked which DC character she wanted to fight. “Lex Luthor,” she told ComicBook. “Just because Nicholas Hoult is so nice. He’s so nice. But he’s kind of punchable. But he’s lovely. And I grew up watching Skins. So it’s like double whammy, no pun intended.”

Hoult’s take on the iconic villain, introduced in 2025’s Superman, presents a version of Luthor whose arrogance invites comeuppance. Alcock’s reference to Skins, the British drama where Hoult played the deeply unlikable Tony Stonem, adds a layer of long-held viewing frustration to the fantasy.

Moreover, her wish is not mere speculation. Supergirl is already confirmed to appear in Man of Tomorrow, the forthcoming Superman sequel. That film will feature Hoult’s Luthor returning in his formidable Warsuit, a piece of armour that brings him closer to Kryptonian-level combat.

While the main narrative is expected to see Superman and Luthor form an uneasy alliance against Brainiac, Kara’s presence in the story opens a clear window for possible punching. Even with advanced weaponry, Luthor remains physically inferior to the Maiden of Might, a fact that makes a confrontation both plausible and satisfying from a storytelling perspective.

The upcoming movie, directed by Craig Gillespie, sees Kara Zor-El travel across the galaxy to save Krypto the Superdog while facing Krem of the Yellow Hills and the space pirates known as the Brigands. It is a violent quest, but the actress is already looking towards future instalments in James Gunn and Peter Safran’s DC Universe.

Supergirl stars Milly Alcock alongside Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, and Jason Momoa. It releases in theatres on June 26.
