ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive trailer for In a Cold Vein. The upcoming survival thriller movie will be available to rent or own on digital platforms starting on July 17, 2026.
“Kidnapped and left for dead, a desperate father unleashes a firestorm of vengeance to find his missing son. But the truth behind the conspiracy is a shocking betrayal that will cost him everything,” reads the official synopsis.

What happens in the In a Cold Vein trailer?
The video features a father’s desperate hunt for his abducted son. After escaping a failed execution, he’ll use all of his skills and experience as a ruthless criminal to find the people responsible for his assassination attempt and the kidnapping of his child. The trailer highlights his thrilling and suspense-filled search for vengeance.
In a Cold Vein is directed by Eric Owen (Thirst) from the band Black Pistol Fire, who is also serving as the film’s composer. The ensemble cast includes Evan Gamble (The Vampire Diaries, Fear the Walking Dead), Brian Villalobos (Apollo 10 1/2: A Space Age Adventure), P. Michael Hayes (Self-Service Pumps), Cliff Dean (Minnie’s Midnight Massacre), Griffon Ethridge (To Will the Sunrise), Marc Pouhé (Between Kings and Queens), and Mor Cohen (And Her Body Was Never Found).
The movie is executive-produced by Mike Chapman and Fatima Hayward, with Samantha McDanel set as a producer. The latter is also the film’s special makeup effects artist and script supervisor.
