On General Hospital, during the custody agreement meeting on the February 4 episode, Willow planted a copy of Drew’s house key in Michael’s keyset and later hinted to Chase about it. Chase, who has been trying to prove Willow’s innocence, took the keyset and tested it himself. However, unbeknownst to him, Wiley saw him as he put the keys back.

Chase then tipped off Nathan, who later sent the keyset to forensics to see whether Michael really had a key to Drew’s house. When forensics confirmed that he did, Nathan summoned Michael for interrogation. While Michael was at the station, Wiley informed Ric that Chase had been messing with the keys. Ric then accompanied Michael during the interrogation and reported the tampering to the authorities.

This whole situation has put Chase in a bad light. Not only could he face charges for planting evidence, but he could also become a suspect for shooting Drew. Fans now seem frustrated by his naivety and how easily Willow’s scheme duped him. A fan took the show’s Facebook page to share their thoughts.

Because why would Michael do that knowing he had Drew’s key?” They added, “And if Chase gets charged, bet Willow won’t ‘save him’ by admitting she put Drew’s key on Michael’s key ring.”
