Connections Help, Hints & Clues for Today, February 18

The February 18, 2026 (#983) edition of NYT Connections is here with another tricky puzzle. If you need a little boost to crack it, we’ve got you covered with some clues and hints.

Connections by The New York Times is an online word game created by Wyna Liu. The objective of the puzzle is to sort the 16 given words into groups of four. The words may look random at first glance, but they are actually connected by a set of four hidden themes. To complete the puzzle, players need to identify these themes and figure out which words belong together in a common group. However, players will get only four guesses to categorize them correctly. Furthermore, the game also offers a “one away…” notification as a hint along the way.
