Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page is set to work with Netflix yet again in a brand new erotic thriller series that’s about to get underway.
What new Netflix TV show is coming out?
According to a new report from Deadline, Page is set to star in and act as executive producer for Hancock Park, an erotic thriller series from writer Matthew Barry (Industry). The series was reportedly a hot commodity, with Deadline noting that there were three major streamers bidding for the project and Netflix eventually winning out over them.
The report also notes that Hancock Park has been put on an “accelerated development track” and already has a script-to-series commitment. The series will follow a “dangerously charismatic outsider (Page) who invades the lives of a seemingly picture-perfect Los Angeles family when he rents their backyard guest house. But as he dives further into their world, the façade of this elite community begins to crumble, and he exposes the desire, deceit, and obsession that lurks around every corner of one of L.A.’s most-coveted neighborhoods,” according to the logline.
Alongside writing duties, Barry will also executive produce the project with Page. For Page, this is yet another big project he has in conjunction with Netflix. Along with starring in the hit first season of Bridgerton, Page also starred in Netflix’s The Gray Man, which is one of Netflix’s most popular movies on its entire platform. He’s also starred in high-profile projects like Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, Black Bag, and the upcoming You, Me & Tuscany.
