Did Nile kill his first wife, Madison in Netflix’s The Beast in Me?
Not being able to write anymore after the death of her son, Aggie Wiggs turns to Nile Jarvis, her new neighbor, collaborating with him to write his biography. However, after maintaining a strictly professional relationship with Nile, Aggie begins to fall down a rabbit hole of deceit, lies, and dark turns. Soon after the duo sabotages Nina’s opportunity for her gallery show, Abbott gets furious and blames Aggie for Teddy’s suicide.
Despite their fallout, Aggie lets Nile into her home one night, and they get closer over drinks and dancing. This infuriates Nina, leading her to become more suspicious of Nile. Soon, Aggie meets Madison’s brother Chris, who tells her about Madison’s parents’ ties to the construction of Jarvis Yards and that they could possibly be protecting Nile. He also gives Aggie Madison’s journal, which reveals that Madison’s suicide note was written much earlier, not when she disappeared. As Aggie realizes that Nile may have killed Madison, she texts Abbott.
However, Nile reads the text while disposing of Abbott’s body, realizing that Aggie now knows the truth. Towards the end of Episode 7, the show reveals through a flashback that Nile did indeed kill Madison at the art gallery in an act of sudden rage. This occurs when Nile becomes furious about Madison’s involvement with Abbott’s FBI team.
Finally, Episode 8 shows Nile coming clean about killing Madison to his wife Nina, who records his confession. Police then take Nile into custody after arriving at Nile’s press conference with Councilwoman Benitez.
