Jessica Chobot announces Bigfoot Took Her release date
On October 11, 2025, Jessica Chobot revealed her new show, titled “Bigfoot Took Her,” in a post on Instagram. Chobot appeared on Expedition X for 7 seasons before announcing her exit to pursue her own reality projects with Discovery. Ever since her departure, fans have eagerly awaited news of her new projects. Now, Chobot has finally revealed that her new show, Bigfoot Took Her, will premiere on the network on October 29.
The new three-part Discovery series will focus on Chobot and her team looking into the mysterious disappearance of Theresa Ann Bier. Bier went missing in the year 1987 after going into the woods of Sierra Nevada National Forest with a stranger. As per her missing persons record, the male suspect claims to have taken her to the Bass Lake area of California.
The show will feature Chobot along with Robert Collier, a veteran officer of the Los Angeles Police Department. The official description of the series describes the case as “one of the most bizarre missing persons cases in modern history.” Chobot’s Instagram post caption reads, “A year ago, I went deep into one of the strangest cold cases in U.S. history. On October 29th, the truth finally comes out. BIGFOOT TOOK HER, a three-part limited series I co-host with LAPD veteran Robert Collier premieres on Discovery Channel (8 pm ET/PT).”
The show will air all three episodes back-to-back starting 8 pm ET on Wednesday, October 29. Each episode seems to be around an hour long. In her caption, she further wrote, “In 1987, sixteen-year-old Theresa Bier vanished in California’s Sierra National Forest. Locals said Bigfoot took her. What we found suggests something much darker… and far more human.”
