When Will The Home Get Its Digital & Streaming Release Date?

The Home is now playing in theaters across the United States, and fans have grown curious about the film’s digital and streaming release date. This film was directed by James DeMonaco from a script he co-wrote with Adam Cantor. The story follows a disturbed man who learns that the residents of the retirement home where he is working are hiding some dark secrets. The man soon launches an investigation into the building and its barred fourth floor. During his investigation, the man realizes that the current predicament he is in is tied to his past as a foster child.

So, when is The Home’s digital and streaming release date? Here’s what you need to know.

When is The Home’s digital release date?

The Home’s digital release date has not been officially revealed. However, it could hit digital platforms by August 2025.

This is due to the pattern followed by theatrically released films from Lionsgate, which co-produced The Home with Roadside Attractions. For instance, Ana de Armas’ Ballerina hit theaters across the United States on June 6, 2025. It then became available digitally on July 1, 2025. Thus, if The Home follows a similar pattern, then viewers can expect it to hit digital platforms by the end of August.

When will The Home begin streaming?

The Home’s streaming release date has also not been confirmed. However, it could grace Starz by late December 2025 or January 2026.

This is because of the pattern followed by Lionsgate’s recent theatrical films. For instance, John Wick: Chapter 4, which graced theaters on March 24, 2023, became available for streaming on Starz in September 2023. Thus, if The Home follows a similar release pattern, then its aforementioned December 2025-January 2026 timeframe is all the more likely.

Moreover, The Home could also come out on Amazon Prime Video, following its streaming run on Starz. This is thanks to Lionsgate and Prime Video inking a multi-year deal in January 2025. The deal stipulates Prime Video’s entitlement to a package of 2025 films, in addition to an exclusive early window for 2026 films following their Starz release.

Pete Davidson headlines the film, playing Max. Supporting cast members include Bruce Altman, Marilee Talkington, John Glover, and Matthew Miniero, among others.
