Lucinda is a fiercely independent woman who has no qualms about doing the right thing. As a mother, she ardently supports her daughter through every rough patch she encounters.
How does Lucinda help Taylor and Steven in The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3?
In the premiere episode, Lucinda is in approval of Taylor’s relationship with Steven, making no attempts to hide how passionately she’s rooting for the couple. Thus, Lucinda does all she can to help Taylor get back together with Steven.
When the mother-daughter pair discusses Lucinda’s recent break-up with Scott, Taylor emphatically states that “all men are trash.” However, Lucinda quietly corrects her, saying that Steven is an exception. At the end of the episode, we see Lucinda terrified at the thought of losing the salon and breaks down in tears in front of Taylor.
