Fans say Kathleen Gati’s return to General Hospital as Liesl Obrecht was ‘needed’
Liesl has been a fan favorite villain since her inception back in 2012. Kathleen Gati has also always done a brilliant job of bringing this sassy antagonist to life. With a stagnancy in General Hospital’s recent storylines, Liest may be the perfect solution.
Fans were glad to see her back, and many took to social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter) to discuss Liesl’s return. Most seemed more than glad that it was happening.
“If Liesl was [brought] back to take down Drew and Willow … give us more Liesl everyday! Let her keep up her energy and plotting with Nina to find that skeleton in Drew’s closet! Liesl it’s nice to see you!!,” one user wrote about the return. Another fan wrote, “It’s so refreshing to have Liesl back. Finally someone who in Willow’s corner who can also tell her what a [joker] she’s being. #GH”
