Hailing from Detroit, Amy Luciani was born as Amber Rose. She changed her moniker to avoid confusion with the popular model Amber Rose. Speaking with All Hip Hop in May 2023, Luciani spoke about her on-stage alias and shared insights into her artistry and music.
During the interview, Luciani revealed how she had been making her own music since childhood. She went on to launch her professional career performing with her three sisters in a singing group called Entrance. As fresh voices in the Detroit music scene, Luciani and her sisters appeared on television shows as well. Additionally, the Entrance opened for popular artists like Bow Wow and B2K.
