Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4 to arrive next year
Fans have been eagerly waiting for a big announcement about Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4 to drop at the Anime Expo, and a new poster as well as the release date window for Part 4 were recently shared.
It’s been revealed that the anime is coming out in 2026. In the new poster, fans got a glimpse of the main protagonist of the anime, Ichigo Kurosaki. The official X account of the anime stated that Part 4 will air on TV Tokyo, along with other networks.
Animation studio Studio Pierrot is working on Part 4 with Creator Tite Kubo. Many fans were anticipating a small teaser for the upcoming Part 4 to be released. However, they were left slightly disappointed as there was no clip shared with the announcement.
In May 2025, Kubo highlighted the difficulties they might face in animating some episodes of Part 4 on a members-only website (via X). He said, “Lately, I’ve been reviewing a lot of Bleach’s Cour 4 storyboards back-to-back, and there are some episodes where, even at the storyboard stage, you can already tell the animation is going to be insanely difficult. I can’t help but worry about the animators.”
