Everyone Who Is Leaving Young & Restless in 2025

Over the years, so many have joined Young and Restless, and so many have left, and for 2025, there is a whole bunch of actors leaving the show. This includes some iconic characters who have stayed on for a long time, and some that could be recast in the upcoming months.

Here is a list of everyone leaving Young and Restless in 2025.

List of everyone who is leaving The Young and the Restless in 2025

Conner Floyd (Chance Chancellor)

Conner Floyd was all over the news for his decision to switch to Days of Our Lives. This came after Billy Flynn joined Young and Restless as Cane Ashby. Conner Floyd will take over Flynn’s role in Days of Our Lives.

Conner Floyd played Phillip “Chance” Chancellor in the CBS soap opera, and the network has not announced any replacement for him yet.

Ray Wise (Ian Ward)

Ray Wise played Ian Ward in Young and Restless. He exited the show in January 2025, and his character will soon be killed off in the show. Ian’s death comes from his long-drawn-out feud with Victor. Victor comes out as the winner in this saga.

Wise has appeared in 91 episodes of The Young and the Restless, and the show could bring him back in the future.

Linden Ashby (Cameron Kirsten)

Linden Ashby’s Cameron Kirsten is unfortunately no longer in the cards for The Young and the Restless. The creators originally introduced him in 2003 as a key character, but recently brought him back just to kill him off.

He last appeared in Sharon’s hallucinations. His last episode aired on January 27, 2025.

Allison Lanier (Summer Newman)

Allison Lanier also exited Young and Restless this year. She portrayed the role of Nick Newman and Phyllis Summers’ daughter, Summer Newman, since 2022. She took over the role from Hunter King. Since the role remains important, the producers will most likely recast Summer Newman soon.

In Allison Lanier’s final episode, she set off to Italy.

Colleen Zenk (Jordan Howard)

The final departee on this list, Colleen Zenk, also left the show in 2025. Her character, Jordan Howard, was an intriguing and evil addition to the show. She was also killed off. The veteran soap actress had been in charge of the role since 2023.

Her final episode aired on January 24, 2025. The actress lamented her exit, saying, “I’m sad Jordan went away so quickly. I thought that Ian and Jordan would go out like Bonnie and Clyde together,” to TV Insider.
