Nancy Drew star Scott Wolf‘s divorce case took a new turn as the actor reportedly filed for a temporary restraining order against his to-be-former wife, Kelley. As per Us Weekly, the restraining order was filed on June 24.

The Perception star has also submitted a declaration as part of his request. The actor’s brother, Michael Wolf, has filed another declaration in support.

Meanwhile, a source close to Kelley revealed what appears to be the public speaker’s reaction to the latest development. The insider stated, “It’s so sad for the kids, but Kelley is ready to fight like hell for her children.”

Previously, Scott Wolf reportedly filed for divorce on June 9. The actor addressed the end of his two decades of marriage via a statement. He noted, “After 21 years of marriage, I have made the most difficult decision of my life, and filed for divorce from my wife Kelley.”

The Nine star added, “Our children have always been, and continue to be, the loves of our lives and our every priority.” On the other hand, Kelley also released a separate statement. She said, “I initiated a separation almost a year ago. I’ve been trying to file for divorce for months, but delays with legal counsel slowed the process.”

Within two weeks of the divorce filing, the personal development coach was detained by Utah police and hospitalized. On Instagram, she opened up about the involuntary hold. She posted, “I’m not sure what’s worse—being erased, or still believing someone might show up” (via Page Six).

She also took a subtle dig at her estranged husband, who had taken their three kids on vacation. Kelley wrote, “It must be nice to go on a vacation instead of a involuntary hold.” She added, “But hey, I’m feeling pretty great!”
