Chicken Run: Eggstraction Trailer Sees Bella Ramsey Return

Aardman and Outright Games announced Chicken Run: Eggstraction, a new top-down action-stealth game based on the iconic Chicken Run franchise.

What is Chicken Run: Eggstraction about?

Chicken Run: Eggstraction comes from Outright Games partnering with Aardman, the famous animation studio behind both Chicken Run and the Wallace & Gromit franchises.

The game, according to Outright, picks up where the 2023 film Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget leaves off, and features a new story that sees the gang trying to work together to save chicken-kind and the evil nugget industry. Bella Ramsey and Josie Segdwick-Davies, who played Molly and Frizzle in the movie, will return to reprise their roles as well.

Check out the announcement trailer for the game below:

The game will see players take control of Chicken Run characters and infiltrate five fortified farms to free captive chickens. Along the way, they’ll have to avoid security cameras and humans trying to catch them.

“Chicken Run: Eggstraction follows the film Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget, with an exciting new story that continues the adventures of its feathered heroes as they work to save chickens from the evil nugget industry, where chicken-kind is still in danger!” reads the game’s description. “Take control of the Chicken Run characters, and embark on a mission to infiltrate five fortified farms and liberate the captive chickens. But beware, there are plenty of eggstra security measures in place that players will need to overcome to lead these fowl to freedom. From avoiding watchful security cameras and hawkeyed humans to hiding in traffic cones, players will be tested on their stealth, skills and strategy.”

Chicken Run: Eggstraction is set to release sometime this autumn, and will be available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store.
