Paramount+ has officially announced the MobLand Season 2 renewal for its latest crime drama led by Academy Award nominee Tom Hardy. This comes after series had just wrapped up the first installment’s ten-episode run, which had successfully garnered 26 million viewers to date. Because of this, it has already become the streamer’s second most-watched original series.
The series is created by Ronan Bennett, who also serves as a writer with Jez Butterworth. The cast is led by Pierce Brosnan (Die Another Day), Helen Mirren (The Queen), Paddy Considine (House Of The Dragon), Joanne Froggatt (Downton Abbey), Lara Pulver (Da Vinci’s Demons), Anson Boon (Pistol), Mandeep Dhillon (CSI: Vegas), Jasmine Jobson (Top Boy), Geoff Bell (Top Boy), Daniel Betts (Fate: The Winx Saga), Lisa Dwan (Blackshore) and Emily Barber (Industry).

MobLand is executive produced by Hardy, David C. Glasser, Keith Cox, Nina L. Diaz, Guy Ritchie, David C. Glasser, Jez Butterworth, Ronan Bennett, Kris Thykier, Ivan Atkinson, Dean Baker, Anthony Byrne, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin and Bob Yari. It is a production by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios. Since its debut, the series has received a Certified Fresh rating of 75% on Rotten Tomatoes.
