Project Seems Right for Levy

20th Century Fox has acquired screen rights to the upcoming fantasy novel The Seems, and has set it as a directing and producing vehicle for Night at the Museum helmer Shawn Levy.

Levy, who is prepping The Hardy Men for Ben Stiller and Tom Cruise, will produce through his 21 Laps. Authors John Hulme and Mike Wexler will write the script.

“The Seems: The Glitch in Sleep,” the first installment in a multi-book series, will be published by Bloomsbury USA in the fall.

The Seems is a parallel world where everything that humans take for granted is manufactured and designed. When a glitch occurs, a young boy is drafted to correct it and save the world.
