In a recent Vanity Fair interview, Chris Evans discussed the pair’s creative chemistry. When asked if he would consider working with Alba Baptista, the Marvel alum gushed, “I would absolutely love to. I work with her all the time on her auditions.” He also explained that it “took a while” for her to feel comfortable running her lines with him.
Evans noted, “That took a while for her to be comfortable with—letting me not just read with her, but give opinions and thoughts and watch the takes back. But we’re so good now. I actually think we work quite well together.” The Ghosted actor also paid a compliment to his spouse’s acting style. He mentioned, “I think she takes direction incredibly well.” He ultimately said he’d be “thrilled” to work with Baptista.
