Dominic Zamprogna says Dante and Lulu will need ‘a lot of repair’ in General Hospital
In a recent interview, Dominic Zamprogna noted that Dante is extremely vexed with Lulu after she outed Gio’s secret in such an unethical manner in General Hospital. He added that “it’s gonna take a lot of repair” to rebuild their broken trust.
While speaking with Soap Opera Digest about how Lulu’s antics at the 2025 Nurses’ Ball affected Dante in General Hospital, Zamprogna stated, “It’s a serious betrayal on her part. He doesn’t really see the positive spin she tries to put on it about protecting his best interests. It sounds more to him like her hate for Brook Lynn is so strong that she’ll go to any length to try and screw her over.”
He further stated, “[Dante] is super-angry with her, and right now, nothing she says is going to convince him that she had good intentions. And so Dante is kind of ready to maybe not have her be a part of his daily life going forward.”
Lulu’s unwarranted behavior in the recent General Hospital episodes seems to carry an extra bit of impact, as she and Dante had recently confessed that they’re still in love with one another. As such, her decision to disclose Gio’s secret has only complicated the pair’s dynamics. While Zamprogna has stated that Dante “definitely loves her,” he also believes that “it’s gonna take a lot of repair” for the duo to overcome their differences after Lulu’s controversial deeds.
