Nagi expresses his desire to play more soccer with Reo
According to the spoilers, the chapter kicks off with Nagi speaking to Reo one final time before he leaves the Blue Lock premises. He expresses his gratitude toward Reo for encouraging him to play and tells Reo he had fun playing football with him. Nagi further asserts that defeating Isagi brought him a sense of victory and fulfillment. He also acknowledges that his desire to continue teaming up with Reo is not enough to be a part of the Blue Lock program.
Nagi reveals his true aim was to play alongside Reo
Nagi further continues his speech and wonders whether his future at Blue Lock would have been different if he hadn’t been dependent on Reo. However, he states that his biggest desire was to continue playing with Reo rather than becoming the number one striker. Nagi also apologizes to Reo for not finding a new aim after defeating Isagi and relying on him.
Reo expresses his gratitude to Nagi
After Nagi’s apology, Reo jumps in and tells the former that he did not do anything wrong. Reo asks him not to feel guilty and asserts that he is grateful to Nagi for pursuing football despite not being very interested in it. Reo also apologizes for constantly pushing Nagi to play. The spoilers then shift to Nagi, who listens to Reo’s speech. Nagi labels him pushy and selfish for continuing to pursue him, but also asserts that this behavior led him (Nagi) to discover himself.
Nagi leaves through the Losers’ Gate
At that moment, Nagi starts to think about the events that occurred after Reo entered his life. He describes his time with Reo as a treasure and asserts that he helped him come out of the dark. Nagi states that if he had not been playing with Reo, then the latter would have been stronger. Nagi then bids farewell by saying that Reo needs to continue pursuing his dream. As he leaves through the Losers’ Gate, Isagi calls out to him and asks him to continue playing. However, Nagi walks away without answering Isagi. The Neo Egoist League concludes, and Blue Lock begins to prepare for the next step.
