WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair called his daughter, Charlotte Flair, a top star, ranking her above John Cena and Cody Rhodes. Charlotte Flair made history at WWE Royal Rumble 2025 by becoming the first woman to win two Royal Rumble matches.
She returned after recovering from a severe ACL, MCL, and meniscus injury that sidelined her for over a year. Flair made an immediate impact by winning the Women’s Royal Rumble. She then confronted every champion across all brands before officially challenging Tiffany Stratton for her title at WrestleMania 41. Over the past few weeks, Flair and Stratton have engaged in a heated rivalry.
During a satellite interview on WWE SmackDown last week, Charlotte Flair belittled Tiffany Stratton, calling her a “pity pick” and dismissing her title reign. Stratton struggled to respond, ending the segment at a disadvantage. Even WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray questioned whether Stratton is ready for Flair.
With Flair already dominating her WrestleMania 41 opponent, Ric Flair believes she has become one of WWE’s biggest stars, even surpassing John Cena and Cody Rhodes, who will headline WrestleMania 41.
Ric Flair declares Charlotte Flair as the best wrestler in WWE
In an interview with TMZ, Ric Flair praised Charlotte Flair’s return. He highlighted her resilience after a serious injury and claimed she is the best in the business right now, even surpassing top stars like John Cena and Cody Rhodes.
He stated, “It was a horrible injury, and it’s hard to do anything on the sidelines when you’re right in the middle of your career. She’s never been hotter, but Undertaker said it best, she came back, and she regained the crown. She’s the greatest female wrestler of all time. She might be the best wrestler in the business right now. Forget about Cena and Cody [Rhodes] and those guys. She’s that good. She’s on fire, man. Sometimes, it takes a while to find your niche. She’s a heel. She’s like me. She can be a babyface because she can do a lot of stuff, but she’s a heel, man. She’s badass. Now, she’s getting to really feel herself. I’m glad that they’re letting her be who she is. When you’re the best, you can say anything you want to say.”
With Charlotte Flair preparing to challenge Tiffany Stratton for the Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 41, it will be interesting to see if her father, Ric Flair, stands by her side, as he has mentioned he will be present at the show.
